Giovanni Wubbena has been an actor in theatre and film for the last fifteen years. Now twenty-two years old and just graduated from Columbia College Chicago, he has performed many times in his hometown of Jackson, Missouri and in his new home of Chicago, Illinois. Shortly after starting his first semester at Columbia College Chicago, Giovanni was cast in many roles in various CCC productions. Throughout his college career, he notably played Oliver in Lemons, Lemons, Lemons, Old Man in The Chairs, and performed in Chicago's 2024 Rhinofest. In 2017, Giovanni performed in Southeast Missouri State University’s production of Big River and the following year began attending classes at The Second City. An elected representative of Jackson Speech and Debate’s Leadership Team, he got first place in Humorous Interpretation at the 2021 Missouri National Qualifier and became Missouri’s State Champion in Storytelling at the 2021 State Finals.
